Shae Mowen School of Dance – Dance School in Wetherill Park
The Principal, Shae Mowen, is a Registered Teacher and Life Member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and mentor in their Teacher Training Program. All the teachers are highly trained and the school offers quality teaching for reasonable fees. Our teachers strive to help our students to reach their full potential whilst sharing their own passion for dance!
A bit about us…we have been established in the Smithfield/Wetherill Park community for over 20 years. We believe that dance should be accessible to all children, the studio being a creative outlet and place of inspiration. The sense of belonging is at our core and being part of a dance family where life long friendships are built.
Past and Present Student HAVE:
- Reached the Top 12 in So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
- Secured scholarships and entry into full time dance schools and the Australian College of Physical Education (Dance).
- Danced at the Easter Show, Dreamworld, Darling Harbour, Relay For Life, nursing homes, Castle Towers and the Fairfield City Museum.
- Won numerous eisteddfods and talent quests for both troupes and solos.
- Achieved 100% Exam pass rates with the Royal Academy of Dance.
- Accepted into their high school of choice based on dance auditions.
- Successfully completed ‘Dance’ as a HSC subject.
- Students accepted into NIDA.
- Working as professional actors/actresses in television.
- Learnt skills that have enabled them to be successful in all walks of life and be all round terrific people!!
