Shae Mowen – Principal
Shae is a Registered Teacher and Life Member of the Royal Academy of Dancing. Miss Shae has been successfully entering students in Ballet Exams for over 40 years and is a registered mentor for those undertaking their RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. Shae’s School has been established in the Smithfield area for over 25 years.

Sarah-Ellen Maxwell – Head Choreographer & Senior Dance Coach
Sarah-Ellen was initially trained by her cousin in Seven Hills and commenced fulltime at 15 years of age at Dynamite Dance Studios and Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy. She also completed a year of full time in Performing Arts with J&L Productions. Sarah holds Advanced Tap and Jazz Certificates and completed her Solo Seal Ballet with BBO & Advanced 1 RAD and danced competitively for many years nationally winning many eisteddfods and scholarships. Sarah is a graduate of the Vienna State Opera Ballet School and has danced professionally in Australia, Europe and Asia for many years. Her fine choreography skills have ensured that our student performances are widely recognised and well-placed at Eisteddfods. Sarah-Ellen has been a guest teacher and adjudicator for several studios and more recently was invited to teach at the annual BBO Dance Days in New Zealand, and CPD sessions in Sydney for the BBO. Sarah-Ellen has been teaching dance for 25 years in all genres of dance and strives to bring the best out of every student with a focus on artistry, technique and performance quality. Outside of dance Sarah-Ellen heads up the Human Resources department at Australia’s most diverse hospitality company, Solotel who own/operate 32 venues across Sydney and Brisbane. She holds a degree in HR and IR and a Masters in Labour Law & Relations from Sydney University. Sarah also enjoys the fitness industry and holds a personal training accreditation and has competed in fitness/body building competitions.

David Camm – Hip Hop/Commercial Jazz & Acrobatics Teacher
We are very excited to welcome David Camm to our teaching faculty, David will be teaching all our recreational hip hop, commercial jazz/funk and acrobatics classes. David has been dancing for 16 years, he began his training in Tamworth NSW trained by Tracy-Lee Mckinney. David furthered his training at Brent Street Studios under the direction of Jacqui Howard Graduating in 2008. He then moved to the USA in 2009 where he secured work with Carnival Cruise Lines. David then furthered his training in America studying at the Edge LA. David’s Dance Career has taken him across the globe dancing in a vast range of genres. David is an established performer working in Sydney on both live performances and Film & Television. Credits include Telugu film Orange, The Helpman Awards, The Paris Opera Ballet, Chambre Rouge, The Man From Snowy River Arena Spectacular, The Tivoli Show, and Luna Park. David has been a dancer for Marvin Priest, PSY, Scary Spice, David Campbell and John Paul Young. David has represented many international brands as a performer including The Intercontinental Hotel, Crowne Plaza, Magnum Ice Creams, Tourism Asia, Sydney Rabbitohs, Nokia, Ford and Monopoly to name a few. David is the artistic Director and head choreographer of Entertainment Works Australia. As a Choreographer David has had much experience working on major events both here and overseas as well as choreographing for Australia’s most elite performing arts schools. Credits include producing lavish live entertainment for some of Sydney’s biggest corporate events, Half time entertainment for major sporting events, choreographing dance reviews for major Asian hotel franchises, choreographer on Channel Ten’s Good News Week and choreographer on Australian rock musical The Island Of Doctor Moron. David is excited to be joining the cast of Saturday Night Fever this year in the New Zealand national tour.

Stephanie Oliveri – Teacher
Stephanie has been dancing with the studio for over 10 years in all genres, her love of musical theatre and all things dance shines through. She has completed her FATD Jazz and Tap exams and RAD Grades. Stephanie has successfully competed and produced routines in numerous eisteddfods and productions and is currently studying dance education at the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE).

Elissa Zappia – Teacher
Elissa has been dancing with the studio for over 10 years, allowing her to attain a deep passion for all genres of dance. She has completed her RAD Grades and has successfully competed and performed routines in various eisteddfods and productions. While dancing at the studio, Elissa has been given several opportunities to perform at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Dreamworld and on the Carnival Cruise. Her training from the studio has allowed Elissa to be accepted into Bossley Park High School’s GAT Dance Program in 2015. During her time at the school, she performed at NSW Public Schools Regional Dance Festival and Schools Spectacular several times. In 2020, Elissa successfully completed her HSC for Dance which saw her achieve a Callback Nomination for her HSC Core Composition. Outside of dance Elissa is currently studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice/ Law at the University of New South Wales. While completing her studies, Elissa aims to maintain her dance training while also sharing her knowledge and passion for dance to her students.
